Originally from Ecuador, Maria Jose came to Costa Rica 13 years ago to specialize in Tropical Biology, with a great affinity in Botany and Phytotherapy. She has trained in these years in Systematics and Taxonomy, Phytotherapy and Alternative Therapies. She currently teaches biology at UNIBE and conducts workshops for tourism guides, focused on the existing flora.
