Dr. YASHPAL JAYNE

starnogreen

Dr Yashpal Jayne, PScD, ND(ret) has always been an eclectic, alternative doctor – after practicing naturopathic medicine for over 20 years, it became apparent that he had spiritually evolved out of the scope of his state licenses. He is now licensed as a Doctor of Pastoral Science and Medicine. Yashpal is the founding bishop of the Essene Order of Natural Mystics and currently establishing its mission, the International Alliance of Natural Mystics, based in Costa Rica. He is the Medical Director of the Entheogenic and Natural Health Center as well as in the process of establishing the Institute of Entheogenic Medicine, also based in Costa Rica.

Since 1999, Yashpal has explored and been working with sacred visionary medicines for his own benefit and has organized many ceremonies with various medicine people to support local communities and further his learning. After working extensively with Ayahuasca/Yage and other medicines, it was revealed that he needs to be the one “in our family” to learn and work with Iboga – and he is. Now Yashpal is setting up an environment to embark on clinical research and spiritual discovery to promote transformation and healing utilizing our sacred visionary medicines and other entheogens with other jungle medicines and his 20 year practice of naturopathic/homeopathic/bioenergetic medicine – recently coining this discipline as “Entheogenic Medicine”. He has high hopes for facilitating profound healing of a radical nature and is clear that his destiny involves the liberation of our visionary medicines and is clearly on the front lines of this transformation – focused now to challenge the appropriateness of these sacred medicines being included as Schedule I controlled substances.

In addition to his clinical treatments, Yashpal organizes a number of sacred medicine ceremonies and tours each year and has opened an office and store that distributes artesania and sacramental tools and instruments for personal healing.

CLASS TITLES

OVERVIEW OF USE OF ENTHEOGENIC MEDICINES:
the “agendas” of sacred plant medicines and current research.

In this talk and discussion, Yashpal will present his understanding and experience as an overview of some of our entheogenic medicines. Particularly focused on Iboga, Ayahuasca, San Pedro, Peyote and Psilocybe, he will also discuss N,N DMT, 5-MeoDMT, MDMA, LSD

In the walk and life of a natural mystic, these medicines have a spirit and a purpose interfacing with humans as they expand our consciousness to teach us, heal us, transform us.

These medicines can be used sacramentally and/or recreationally. Each become essential at different times of our lives and states of our be-ing, helping us to become better people each and every day. Intention, set and setting can make all the difference….

Additionally, these medicines are effective medically to work thru spiritual discord that affect our physical health. An overview of the current research that has been done and is ongoing.

THE ART AND PRACTICE OF PLANT SITTING

Join us at 5:45am each morning for an hour of plant meditation, sitting with and tuning into the subtle language of the beautiful plants of the rainforest. Beginning with exercises to strengthen our sensory perception and deepen our heart perception we shall practise awareness of the spirits of the plants and those called to ally with us. Every plant has their story to tell and something to share with us, offering their medicine as we offer our conscious attention and listening.  Gathering together in a different spot each day we will meet new friends and reconnect with old allies amongst the many tropical medicinals. Spending time consciously engaged with the plants in the freshest part of the jungle day is a magnificent way to enter into our conference experience and teachings. Footwear and insect awareness / protection recommended for this early foray into the jungle dawn.
